It was somewhere between Aaron Rowand’s triple play and Prince “I absolutely hate this guy but hope he’s a Giant in 2011” Fielder’s walk-off that I realized something: It’s not Brian Sabean’s fault for putting together a hitting staff and offense that is comparable to the Lodi Tweetybirds.

It’s not Bruce Bochy’s fault for cursing and shredding any run producing lineup he has ever had the second it works. God forbid staying with something that works.

No, no it’s not even Bip Roberts’ fault.

It’s mine.

You see, it’s my fault for being a Giants fan and thinking we had an actual chance at this thing.

Hi, I’m Eric Shackelford.

I’ve been a lifelong Giants’ fan and on September 6, 2009 (Never Forget)… I finally saw the reason to these San Francsico woes: I had no one to blame but myself because I am a San Franisco Giants fan.

But since this moment I have been able to accept my doom and go back to finding out the real reason as to why we are where we are.

Why exactly am I trashing the Giants? You might say, “but Eric, we’ve had the best record since Will Clark weighed 170 pounds.

“Why are you calling for the heads of Brian Sabean and Bruce Bochy?”

It’s simple, Internet.

If  these two weren’t involved in our organization we would be sitting on our couches after the game calling up every Dodger fan we knew and letting them know what if feels like to clinch a playoff spot right now. Yes, we would be nearly unbeatable.

Enter: The birth of fire-sabean.com.

This is a place to rally, rant, argue and talk Giants. Oh yeah, and to get rid of Sabean which would then cause the firing of Bruce Bochy.

Don’t get me wrong, as the unemployment rate rises, I would feel sorry for Bochy after losing his job; but if you have the will power to pay a 9-figure salary to a guy who statistically only affects 20% of your season at best, then you probably shouldn’t be in any office near any ballpark Brian Sabean.

Bottom line: These two have made some of the worst calls in baseball history. Period. The End.

Bruce Bochy should not get manager of the year (which he is/was in the “running” for) and Brian Sabean shouldn’t be showing up to any Giants games any time soon – Just kidding, I’m 6’2’’ and ½ \ and 160 pounds.
