Giants fire Carney Lolansford
Poor guy, he takes the hit for the pathetic ownership and management. He didn’t help, but he wasn’t the answer to our problems.

Manager Bruce Bochy phoned Carney Lansford to tell him he has been relieved as Giants hitting coach, the team announced this evening. No replacement has been named. The rest of Bochy’s staff is expected to be retained.
Bochy should have sent him a text instead. Who doesn’t have the balls to say goodbye to someone face to face.
Perhaps instead of blaming out terrible hitting on the hitting coach we should sign a bat or two? Just a thought…
