It’s a lot of fun when you’re winning, hitting, and playing good baseball. But what happens when you finally slip up — literally?
Edgar Renteria(batting at a cool .143 avg) slipped at short during a routine play and Aubrey Huff committed two errors in one play. First by not picking the one-hopper, then by “floating” his throw to home as the runner scored. THAT’S OKAY, HE’S OLD… IF I TYPE IN CAPS HE’LL DO MUCH BETTER.
The Giants looked terrible against the Mariners yesterday and as many have noted it was mainly on the defensive end. Here’s the elephant in the room: How are we going to win with the “best” pitching staff but the worst defense in the league?
I’m going to be honest here, I love the San Francsico Giants. I love the park, the team, the city, but for the love of Lou-Seal this has to stop.
Bochy continues to have his blinders on. We’ll see Renteria getting ample PT; Huff sucking at first and DeRosa imitating Barry in left field all year. That’s not going to win us a title yet alone get us in the playoffs.
Sure we’ll score more than last year, but I mean my brother’s JV baseball team scored more than the G-men last year in 15 games, but the defense could be the death of the team.
Bochy won’t see it, Sabean will be too busy searching for prizes in boxes of crackerjacks like the owner in Rookie Of The Year, and us fans will sit here for another season wondering when the office will realize that, unlike Rookie of the Year, we won’t win anything.

BTW, does anyone find it ironic that Rowengardner looks eerily like Tim Lincecum?
Rowenhowzen had an awkward, messed up delivery (like Tim); is just a kid (like Tim) and has been rumored to light up every now and then (like Tim)!
