BTW Sorry for the lack of updates.. I’ve received hundreds of e-mails and thanks for your best wishes and concerns. FIRE-SABEAN has just been hard at work at its new animated series: “Bruce and Brian”. The pilot episode is slated to launch some time in May, maybe June.. possibly July (we are on the same plan as Freddy Sanchez).

10:45 – So at work yesterday a big A’s fan tried to belittle me and tell me how much he hates the Giants. Following my attack on the 10-12,000 fans that constantly fill up Oakland’s beautiful stadium, he said “Yeah well we spent 10 million while you guys spent 100 and we had virtually the same record!” I told him to go ahead and attack our front office, I am on the same page, in fact I’ll join you in that argument. I’m talking about fanship, not ownership, we all know Sabean is the Eugenio Velez of management.

He then walked away with nothing more to say.

12:32 – After telling a story about a dumbass A’s fan, I will now be plugging a friends A’s blog. If you’re a both-of-the-bay fan, then it’s a fun read. But I’m not, so I won’t read it.

12:36 – I was at work last night and saw a few of the Nate highlights. I have said for a while that he has the sexiest arm, and bone structure, in baseball. Thanks for proving me right. Sounds like a certain writer should be put on the scouting team.

12:45 – What a game we have in store today. Two great pitchers and two of the best offenses in the MLB… !!!

1:17 – I still would take Timmy over Velez in any batting situation — mainly because Lincecum strikes out cooler.

1:19 – I have turned on picture-in-picture mode with The People’s Court and the Giants game.. Might as well fast forward to the 8th inning where someone may finally get a hit!

1:22 – Hamels walks off after taking an assumed strike three. I’ve seen ball fours before, but never the hitter leaving before the ump calls a third strike. Lincecum then just misses the dome of the ump, and laughs about it walking back to the mound. Poetically enough the next pitch he strikes out Hamels on absolute filth. I love it.

1:27 – Oh nice, it’s the inning where little kids introduce the Giants batters. I think it’d be cool if they had a night like this for really really drunk guys. Can you imagine the stuff that would be said?

1:31 – Huff strikes out with 2 outs and a runner on second..I feel like this:

1:35- Kuip trying to pronounce “Fife Dog” during a plug isn’t even the top highlight of the inning! Matt Downs with a great start to a double play. Freddy Sanchez 2.0.

1:40 – Amy G’s mic wasn’t on for about 10 seconds of her hit, man, it’s like the TV knew what I was thinking.

1:42 – 2-0 count to Big Boy Bengie, runner on first and Moyer clearly misses the plate by 8 inches and it’s called a strike. Someone has a grudge against Big Time Timmy Jim?

1:43 – Hey Bochy pulled a hit-and-run.. that’s only his third of the game! How many types of double plays can we get into?

1:48 – Ryan Howard can suck my five-dollar foot long.

1:56 – Andres Torres gets CSN’s Dodge Ram Drive Of The Game with a ball that LEFT THE INFIELD! Let’s make this our Jerry Brown for Governor run of the game!

2:05 – Anyone secretly wishing Tim hits Hamels, if he does he may break a hip.

2:13 – Great hit, Matt Downs is my favorite player ever. Molina barely makes it to third when everyone in the world would have scored, which reminds me: 50 things faster than Bengie Molina

2:16 – Tim’s walk-up music:

He then promptly strikes out with the bases loaded in a tie game, lol at least no double play.

2:18 – Tie game, bases loaded, two outs in the bottom of the 6th. Why do I feel Torres will still ground into a double play.

2:20 – Torres walks and Kuiper calls it like he just hit a walk off. AWESOME! GIANTS LEAD 2-1.

2:22 – Renteria great hit, Krukow just makes it the Dodge Ram Drive of the Game.. so that’s two? FINE, WE CAN HAVE OUR Jerry Brown for Governor run of the game… AGAIN!

2:24 – Giants lead 4-1. TWEET OF THE GAME:

2:31 – I chalked that Ryan Howard blast off the left-field wall up as a routine 9-6 putout.

2:36 – Werth throws helmet down in frustration, Kuip makes the call to commercial “Werth throwing helmets all over the infield” and another out-of-towner gets ATandT’d. NICE!

2:38 – Window open, pouring rain, Giants winning and it’s not even 3:00 yet! WOW, what a day.

2:44 – Oh Tim went 3-up-3-down.. Weird!

2:48 – Tim gets a standing ovation before his at-bat and after. What a great feeling.

2:57 – Bochy takes out Timmy after one walk in the top of the ninth, with a three-run lead. Eesh, I dono coach, in fact, that was downright stupid. Sorry, I just love complete games and saying those combined with Tim Lincecum. I have the utmost faith in Brian Wilson.

3:02 – Giants up 4-1, two on for Ryan Howard with two outs.. I’m having war-like flashbacks..

3:03 – Brian Wilson walks Howard, an angry Werth to hit.. THIS IS GIANTS BASEBALL, here we gooooooo

3:05 – I have a feeling this 2-2 count is about to go full.

3:07 – Anyone not watching, this is an amazing at-bat.. Full count about 7 pitches so far. Bases loaded, 2 outs, down 3.

3:08 – Werth bloops a ball down the right-field line, and is about two inches fair. Game tied 4-4, Lincecum loses the win. Wilson blows the save.

3:10 – A lot of people will question pulling Tim. He looked a bit fatigued, but it’s a tough call. Either way, Wilson gives up three runs in top of the ninth to tie the game. Giants avoid sweep.. again.

3:11 – ATTENTION ANYONE WHO THINKS WINS MEAN A THING: Lincecum allowed four baserunners, struck out 11 and went 8 1/3 innings. He will not get the win.

3:16 – I have been wanting to do a review on Mark and Aubrey’s impact so far.. a lot of it will rest on this at-bat.

3:22 – Extra innings, I’m trying to repair the hole I put in the wall before my girlfriend gets home..

3:31 – Right when I get done patching up the first hole, Phillies take 5-4 lead and I punch a second hole..

3:44 – Not really surprised Bochy didn’t do what you’re supposed to and lay down a sac-bunt, pinch hit if you have to. So Velez does a swinging bunt.. huh.. OK…

3:46 – Torres singles home Nate, game tied 5-5. I told you Torres was a good player…….

3:49 – Utley not a good liar, Torres becoming sexier by the minute with a stolen base.

3:57 – Top of the 11th. FS LIVE BLOG is in extra innings again, two out of four games..

3:59 – I need to shower today..

4:05 – I want to laugh at what we just saw from Velez. Bochy put him in in the eighth and it wasn’t for defensive purposes. He did a total face plant into the wall and it looked like the ball bounced off his head. Can someone make a Benny Hill video out of all of Velez’s antics in the outfield.

4:06 – Velez just dropped a routine pop-fly. Giants down 7-5. You are joking.. Someone is joking.. right?

4:18 – I just ordered a Nate Scheirholtz jersey, 7-6, runners on 2nd and 3rd one out. Nate just doubled.

4:20 – Velez does what he does, hits an infield grounder, Uribe thrown out at home.. Still 7-6, two outs. Velez manages to screw it up.
