LIVE-BLOG! 5.14.10 – FINAL: Giants 8, Astros 2, Oh Wellemeyer!

Nothing like the Houston Astros to help bust a slump… Then again, nothing like Todd Wellemeyer to help keep it going. The San Francisco Giants have officially changed their name to the San Francisco Padre-Bitches. Two sweeps and zero leads in any game, we need a bounce-back.

News of Mark Derosa maybe just needing “rest” instead of surgery (yeah, I’m sure rest will never cause his wrist to hurt again) hasn’t done much to tame the wild animals known as the rabid fans. With every loss, those who had their heads in the clouds with visions of post-season and our team actually scoring runs are coming to the realization that this may have been a hot streak.

8:06 – This is the happiest I have been in 3.5 days. I wonder how many people are talking playoffs again..

8:12 – Japanese Heritage Night.. I guess this means it’s time for my obligatory Shinjo picture.

8:23 – I’m wondering if it’s possible that the Padres and Dodgers both lose despite playing eachother.. then I remembered LA is LA, they always lose at everything.
