LIVE-GAME BLOG: Sanchez being healthy Sanchez, Giants win 5-4!!

It’s been a fun 16 hours. To kick off my Memorial Day Weekend I went to the Giants game last night and was on KNBR talking with Gary Radnich about how big of a loser I am.

Gary, if I wanted to ruin my self-confidence I would have gone to the gym.

It seemed like all you wanted to do was act old and not understand the whole social media thing now. Everyone is connected, we all canspeak out on the Internet, not just the radio guys or the TV guys. Let’s consider www.fire-sabean.com my personal radio show.. Only it’s in print and people can’t call in.. BUT they can post comments!

Oh yeah, and I’m the editor of the page so I can delete any comment I want. Maybe we’re not that off from being a radio show after all.

But let’s now focus on the real issue here.

• FAIL - Pablo goes 3-for-5: 0-for-3

THANKS for all the support that was shown yesterday at the park. Makes me realize that something needs to be done if this team is to actually be successful.

12:41 – Man I was cutting this one close. made it time just in times to see the linups. Bowker sighting, awesome.. Whiteside sighting, oh…

12:43 – It’s starting to pour right now. Welp, guess it’s time to start cleaning…

12:46 – Adam Dunn homers, 1-0. Like I said.. Time to turn off the TV.

12:49 – A vendor just got hit in the face by a foul ball yet a fan immediately looks down to grab the ball not the vendor, lol wow.

12:53 – Freddy Sanchez swings at a pitch that was located in Oakland and gets a single. Freddy Sanchez IS THE MAN!

12:58 – Sanchez comes around to score and we have three hits and a tie ball game. I am nervously excited right now.

1:01 – Amy G confirms that Matt Downs is now sent down to AAA. R.I.P We all knew this day was coming so it’s important to bring back the video tribute to Matthew Downs.

1:03 – Zito lays out another muffin and another blast. 2-1 Nationals, Zito looks like he’s pitching in the whiffle ball park that’s out in left field right now..

1:09 – Thanks for the comments Rich Lieberman, check out his stuff if you haven’t already there’s some good reads.

1:12 – 3-1.  The lead continues to grow to insurmountable heights, seriously, about this cleaning thing.

1:16 – I hope Freddy just didn’t get his mole cleeted off. Spikes to the face looked like it hurt.

That mole is a staple.

1:22 – Kruk and Kuip picking on a father who is hogging an umbrella. This is why they are the best commentators in sports. “Share the thing with your son, meat!” Pulling out the telestrator, great cuts during the game. The father got a phone call as they faded out. “Hey you’re being called a terrible father on TV!”

1:31 – It’s cold and raining in late May, I am now blaming global climate change on Brian Sabean.

1:34 – The guy imitating big leaguers’ batting stances. Awesomely funny.

1:36 – Pablo grounds into a 4-6-3 double play. Not awesomely funny.

1:42 – There’s like 10 people in the bleachers today. Yesterday was funny to watch Nyjer Morgan play to the crowd by blowing kisses and dancing out in center. Deep down I wished we had him, instead we have Nickelback out in Center.

1:45 – Freddy Sanchez with a great sliding play over at second. Matt who?

2:20 – I love hearing, Uribe and then Rowand to follow.

2:31 – They are wondering if this hit is s a home run or not, I’m wondering why he is giving up so many bombs.

2:50 – I kind of want Lebron to come to San Francisco.

2:52- Runners on 2nd and 3rd in a 4-3 game, Andres The Giant strikes again.

2:57 – Sanchez delivers like Sanchez does when he’s healthy. Two-run RBI Giants lead 5-4. The clouds are parting and the rain has stopped — that’s a nice touch.

3:08 – Dibs guy needs to calm down there’s like 400 people at the game. Take a breather man.

3:20 – Oh cool Brian Wilson time, oh God, it’s Brian Wilson time. He’s a lot like a 2009 defected Toyota car, with him you feel like you can’t put on the brakes and he’s going 180 mph.

3:28 – Wilson gives us a painless ninth inning and a shot in the arm they needed. Giants win 5-4!
