Can Sabean Fire Bochy?

I hate to toot my own horn, but I mean, who else is going to do it?

FLASHBACK to March 8th, I wrote an article right when Spring Training started and said this:

As we hold our breath to see how the players develop, flashbacks of in-game mistakes by Bruce Bochy play through in my head. A pinch-runner not subbing in, an obvious bunt-situation not so obvious, Merkin Valdez pitching to Prince don’t stand on first-base because it’ll sink into the ground Fielder.

We CANNOT make the playoffs with this manager and we WILL NOT be successful with Sabean at the controls.

Not saying I cured cancer, and a lot of people already knew Bochy sucked but most didn’t seem to care if he got fired. I don’t know how anyone can ignore his mediocre at best overall record, lack of playoff success or his flat out idiocy.. But they have.

Now EVERYONE is calling for his head, which is great but did anyone think Sabean and Bochy would direct this team into a winning push in the playoffs in the first place?

Now the question: Will Sabean actually pull the trigger?

A week ago I’d say no way, but his left-field trade of Bengie has put some doubt in my mind. And if put in the position, Sabean needs and will fend for himself and throw Bochy under the short bus known as the Giants.

Sure, they have seemed like Zach Morris and Screech Powers over the years — best friends forever, but Molina was a huge step forward and we all know Bochy now cries himself to sleep because of it.

Bochy will never change.  He will always do the things he does that doesn’t help us win ball games. So do we blame the team or the manager?

It doesn’t matter, the cries will definitely grow A LOT louder after losing seven in a row and trust me, Sabean will hear it. He’s heard our voice so far this season (see his KNBR call-ins getting defensive) so keep it up guys, this is our team.

We pay for them, too. We support them through and through and we deserve a voice. THIS is our voice, fire sabean dot com.

I’ve known Bruce Bochy since high school, and even I think he’s doing a terrible job!

If Sabean doesn’t fire Bochy, he, too, will lose his job. Sabean, contrary to popular belief, is not stupid. If he doesn’t try to save his job because of Bochy, then he deserves to get fired.

This isn’t personal, Brian, it’s only business.

One last note: lest we’ve all forgotten, Bochy was hired to manage a Barry Bonds led club. They need a special babysitter to make the right pretend noises since Barry was really in charge.

Once Barry was gone, the need for Bochy was gone.

      Begone, Bochy.

      Dpofessor always droppin’ the knowledge.

That’s exactly why Bochy WILL be fired if this team can’t win a single series before the All-Star break. So, it pains me to say this BUT, here’s to us not winning before the All-Star break.

My opinion is that both have to go. If only Bochy goes, then Sabean will find somebody just as bad. Remember when Alou got fired? Sabean had a chance to change course and hire somebody like Bud Black, but he went with another boring vet lover in Bruce Bochy. Both need to go, but Sabean is more important to get rid of.

Great now we get to hear Bochy get credit for a day where Ishikawa ran into one. (god I love that guy’s swing when he connects).

My thoughts on what to do with the Dome himself, Bochy, replace him with Bobby Valentine. I don’t think Florida was what he wanted and San Francisco would be a great first job back for him from Japan.

Bud Black manages the first place team in the division, a team that plays strong fundamental baseball. He was as an assistant with the Angels, a team that plays strong fundamental baseball. Yeah, I’m so dumb for suggesting him. LOL shane= worst troll ever.

Nope, I didn’t start this website, that would be a different Eric that goes by the name “Fire Sabean” here. And I’m not “getting my panties wet” over 80 games. Ever since August of last year, SD has the best record in the NL. Plus Black spent all those years with an Angels organization that is very well run and fundamentally sound.
