Giants In Taiwan?
Well Northern California is getting a lot of money.. And by Northern California I mean the owners of the 49ers and the Giants..
Baggs reports that if the players sign off on it, the San Francisco Giants will be playing the Arizona Diamondbacks for two games in Taiwan..
So the 49ers to London, Giants to Taiwan, what’s next? The Kings playing the Warriors in Afghanistan?
I could maybe see promoting the league in a place like London, but I’m not Bud Selig. Sounds like someone lost a little too much money on black in Vegas last week..

I could see it being something that doesn’t necassarily hurt the Giants.
The only question that I have is how does it effect the number of home games that the team has? 2 less “real” home games could be something that hurts that team but not by much.
Getting the league and the team more exposure is never a bad thing. Baseball is wonderfull game that I wish everyone could love.
If the English Premiere league came to town I would watch. To me it is the same thing, when you have the chance to watch the best of the best play you take advantage.

Scott, I’m pretty sure Taiwan is already built pretty well for baseball, so I don’t understand why they don’t target a place that doesn’t even have baseball — That’s how you spread the word of the game..
