Will S.F. Even Pull Off A Trade?

Bruce Bochy doesn’t want to see a trade happen. Brian Sabean has been saying all along “we WILL make a move”. David DeJesus needs Jesus Christ in return if he’s going to be traded.

Something’s gotta give.

According to MLBTR, the Royals are asking for “a major league-ready prospect, along with at least one midlevel prospect or a pair of lower-level players.”

Translation: Madison Bumgarner, along with at least Matt Downs OR Eli Whiteside and Nate Schierholtz..

Now I’m probably off on the lower-level players because I’d do that just so I don’t have to see Whiteside come up in a clutch situation anymore. Good God.

I also don’t think Joe Martinez passes a major league-ready prospect. I would love to be a fly on the wall in the room Sabean is discussing this trade in.
